Hellcat (and Redeye, Demon, Trackhawk, TRX) owners have been fighting Stellantis security restrictions for years. The GPEC2A PCM ships with factory security that blocks aftermarket tuning software from reading or writing the calibration. Tools like HP Tuners, DiabloSport Trinity, and Hemituner all return "security violation" or "vehicle not supported" until the PCM is unlocked.

The aftermarket has worked around this for a while — until Stellantis issues a security update, after which the workaround stops working until tool vendors release a new workaround. The cycle continues.

What's frustrating for owners: even if you previously unlocked your PCM, Stellantis service campaigns and TSB reflashes silently re-lock it. You take your Hellcat in for warranty work, get it back, can no longer tune.
