Will This Fix My Problem?

My FRM bricked after disconnecting the battery — can you fix it?
Yes. That is the single most common cause of FRM3 failure and is fully recoverable. We read out the surviving EEPROM data and restore the firmware on the bench.
Will I lose my coding after the repair?
No. Your original coding (lights, comfort access, etc.) is preserved. The module is plug-and-play when you reinstall it.
How do I avoid bricking the new one?
Always have a battery support during any FRM coding or full vehicle programming. We include a "do not brick" tip sheet with the return shipment.
Does this work on F-chassis (F30, F32, F10) BMWs?
No. F-chassis uses FEM/BDC, not FRM. Different module entirely — see our BMW FEM/BDC service.
How fast is turnaround?
24 hours from receipt. We send a photo of the working bench-test plus tracking when it ships back.
