Unsupported version? Nothing is written and we route you to mail-in.

No checksum needed

These MS43 immo bytes are not checksum-guarded — it flashes clean as-is.

Three steps, no shipping

If you can read and write your own MS43 over K-line, you can have an IMMO-OFF file in under a minute.

01

Read your DME

Pull a complete 512 KB read of the MS43 over K-line with MS4x Flasher and a K+DCAN cable. No boot mode needed.

02

Upload & verify

Drop the .bin above. We byte-verify the exact software version (ca430064), then take payment — only if it is supported.

03

Download in seconds

The IMMO-OFF file is returned instantly — no checksum step. Write it back with your own tool.

What runs online vs. mail-in

Different MS43 calibration, or no tool? Ship the DME to our mail-in BMW DME EWS delete and we'll read, patch, and return it.

Reading an MS43 is K-line only

There is no BDM or JTAG route into an MS43 — every read and write goes over the K-line. Boot mode is only for virginizing, ISN, VIN and cloning, and is not needed for an EWS delete.

Bench wiring — the one that bites

12 V to X60001 pins 7 and 8, grounds on 4, 5 and 6, terminal 15 to X60004 pin 26, K-line from X60001 pin 3 straight to OBD pin 7. Never feed 12 V into X60001 pin 1 — it is a DME output, not an input. Keep the K-line point to point; a breakout box on that wire will stop it dead.

Frequently asked

Which BMW MS43 file does the online tool do?
The Siemens MS43 512 KB full read running software version ca430064. Every upload is byte-verified against that exact version first — the version string lives at offset 0x70040 in your read. If your file is a different MS43 calibration (430037, 430056, 430066, 430069), a partial read, or an already-modified file, nothing is written, you are not charged, and we route you to the mail-in EWS delete.
Why only ca430064 and not the other MS43 versions?
Because ca430064 is the one we have a verified, running donor pair for. Our patch reproduces that confirmed-working immo-off file byte-for-byte. The other MS43 calibrations need their own verified donor before we will sell them as an instant file — we do not guess offsets on an ECU, because a wrong write costs you the module. Those go mail-in until we have proof.
Does MS43 need a checksum correction?
Not for this patch. The immobilizer bytes we change are not checksum-guarded on this software — our reference immo-off is a confirmed-running "NO CHKS" file. That is why the calculator returns a ready-to-flash file in seconds with no extra checksum step.
What exactly does IMMO-OFF do?
It disables the immobilizer (EWS) check inside the DME so the engine starts and runs without a valid EWS handshake — for bench testing, standalone and swap builds, and repair where a matched EWS is not present.
How do I read an MS43?
Over K-line — there is no BDM or JTAG route into an MS43. On the bench you need 12 V on X60001 pins 7 and 8, grounds on 4, 5 and 6, terminal 15 on X60004 pin 26, and K-line from X60001 pin 3 to OBD pin 7. Never feed 12 V into X60001 pin 1; it is a DME output and that can damage the module. MS4x Flasher does the 512 KB read and write over that link.
What file do I upload?
A complete 512 KB (524,288-byte) read of the MS43 DME. A calibration-only or tune-only file cannot carry this patch — it has to be the full binary.
How fast do I get the file back?
Seconds. You upload, we byte-verify the exact file, you pay, and the IMMO-OFF file downloads immediately. Write it back with your own tool.
Could this brick my ECU?
The calculator is version-locked and byte-checked: it fingerprints your read and refuses to write a single byte unless every patch site matches what we verified. If we cannot match your file you are not charged and we send you to mail-in. Always keep your original read as a backup before writing, and never write a 512 KB OBD read back in boot mode.
