Massachusetts FAQ

Common questions from customers ordering from Massachusetts.

How long does delivery to Massachusetts take?
We supply the part, program it to your VIN at our Arlington TX workshop, and it ships ready to install. From there it travels to Boston or anywhere in Massachusetts at the delivery speed you chose at checkout — standard, UPS 2-Day, or overnight.
How much is shipping to Massachusetts?
Shipping is chosen at checkout — $29.95 standard / $54.95 2-day / $94.95 overnight, flat nationwide.
Do you ship ford apim / sync — programmed to vin to Massachusetts?
Yes — we ship to Boston, Worcester, Springfield, Cambridge and the rest of Massachusetts. With about 5 million registered vehicles statewide, European luxury (BMW, Mercedes, Audi) are the bulk of what we see from Massachusetts.
Is there a ford apim / sync — programmed to vin shop in Boston I should use instead?
Most Boston shops don't keep the bench equipment for ford apim / sync — programmed to vin — they'd forward the module to a specialist anyway, which adds a markup and a middleman. Going direct to us is usually faster and cheaper. Cross-country northeast — about 3 days each way.
Does Massachusetts vehicle inspection or emissions testing affect this service?
Massachusetts requires an annual combined safety and OBD-II emissions inspection statewide. Our service is bench module programming only — you remain responsible for your vehicle's compliance with all Massachusetts and federal requirements.
Will my backup camera and nav work?
When they worked before the APIM failed, yes — the as-built data we apply configures those features for your vehicle. If you are trying to ADD a feature your car was not built with (e.g. nav it never had), tell us up front, as that is a different conversation.
Is this just a used module?
It is a correctly-sourced module programmed and configured to YOUR vehicle — which is exactly what a raw used APIM is not. The difference between the two is the whole service.
