Michigan FAQ

Common questions from customers ordering from Michigan.

How long does delivery to Michigan take?
We supply the part, program it to your VIN at our Arlington TX workshop, and it typically ships in 1–2 business days. From there it travels to Detroit or anywhere in Michigan at the delivery speed you chose at checkout — standard, UPS 2-Day, or overnight.
How much is shipping to Michigan?
Shipping is chosen at checkout — $29.95 standard / $54.95 2-day / $94.95 overnight, flat nationwide.
Do you ship ford pcm — programmed & ready to install to Michigan?
Yes — we ship to Detroit, Grand Rapids, Warren, Ann Arbor and the rest of Michigan. With about 8.1 million registered vehicles statewide, domestic trucks & SUVs are the bulk of what we see from Michigan.
Is there a ford pcm — programmed & ready to install shop in Detroit I should use instead?
Most Detroit shops don't keep the bench equipment for ford pcm — programmed & ready to install — they'd forward the module to a specialist anyway, which adds a markup and a middleman. Going direct to us is usually faster and cheaper. Cross-region north — about 2-3 days each way.
Does Michigan vehicle inspection or emissions testing affect this service?
Michigan has no statewide periodic vehicle safety or emissions inspection program. Our service is bench module programming only — you remain responsible for your vehicle's compliance with all Michigan and federal requirements.
What exactly is the PATS reset?
It is a ten-minute procedure that tells the car and the new module to trust each other. Any shop or automotive locksmith can do it, and owners with a FORScan cable (about $20) routinely do it themselves. The written procedure ships in the box.
Can I avoid the PATS step completely?
Yes — choose the clone path. If your original PCM can still be read on the bench, we copy your data onto the replacement and the security side carries over exactly, making it a true plug-in. Mail your original in and we will tell you straight away if it is readable.
