Illinois FAQ

Common questions from customers ordering from Illinois.

How long does delivery to Illinois take?
We supply the part, program it to your VIN at our Arlington TX workshop, and it typically ships in 1–2 business days. From there it travels to Chicago or anywhere in Illinois at the delivery speed you chose at checkout — standard, UPS 2-Day, or overnight.
How much is shipping to Illinois?
Shipping is chosen at checkout — $29.95 standard / $54.95 2-day / $94.95 overnight, flat nationwide.
Do you ship chrysler pcm — programmed & ready to install to Illinois?
Yes — we ship to Chicago, Aurora, Rockford, Naperville and the rest of Illinois. With about 10.5 million registered vehicles statewide, trucks, SUVs & imports are the bulk of what we see from Illinois.
Is there a chrysler pcm — programmed & ready to install shop in Chicago I should use instead?
Most Chicago shops don't keep the bench equipment for chrysler pcm — programmed & ready to install — they'd forward the module to a specialist anyway, which adds a markup and a middleman. Going direct to us is usually faster and cheaper. Cross-region north — about 2 days each way.
Does Illinois vehicle inspection or emissions testing affect this service?
Illinois requires emissions testing in the Chicago and Metro-East St. Louis areas; downstate counties are exempt. Our service is bench module programming only — you remain responsible for your vehicle's compliance with all Illinois and federal requirements.
Which controllers do you actually cover?
The SBEC and JTEC era from the mid-1990s, the NGC1 through NGC4A family, and the GPEC, GPEC2, GPEC2A and GPEC3 controllers — roughly 1995 through 2021. Send the part number off your existing PCM and we confirm your exact controller before shipping.
Will my keys still work?
That is the point of handling SKIM properly. Tell us at checkout whether you have working keys, and we prepare the module accordingly — including all-keys-lost situations, which we handle as a separate bench service if needed.
