P0610 is Control Module Vehicle Options — the ECM's stored block of VIN and vehicle-configuration data no longer reads as valid or no longer agrees with the rest of the vehicle. On the 2005–2006 Liberty CRD's Bosch EDC16 it is a well-known failure: the code returns after every scan-tool clear because the underlying stored data is the problem, not the code. We rewrite that identity and options data on the bench so the module is internally consistent again.
