Heavy-Duty Truck ECM & CPC Module Repair
Caterpillar · Detroit · Cummins · PACCAR · Freightliner CPC4
Choose the controller family first. A truck badge or engine name alone does not identify its electronics. A Series 60 can use different DDEC generations, a Cummins ISX can use different CM families, and a Kenworth or Peterbilt can have different engine manufacturers.
CPC4 belongs in the same heavy-duty repair category but is not an engine ECM. It is a Common Powertrain Controller. A complete vehicle scan helps separate a CPC complaint from an engine-controller, power-supply or network fault.
These are individual repair enquiries, not guaranteed-fit replacement modules. We confirm the exact hardware, available test coverage, diagnostic fees, repair scope, warranty and turnaround before accepting a job. Keep the truck-side diagnostic findings with the module so an external fault is not mistaken for a failed controller.

| Generation | Years | What's different | Module | Our service |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CAT 70-Pin ECM Repair | Confirm module label and application | Identify the controller by its label and connector arrangement. An engine name such as C15 does not establish that the ECM is a 70-pin unit; later hardware and different applications need a separate match. | Caterpillar 70-pin | CAT 70-Pin ECM RepairFrom $775 · Quote required |
| CAT 40-Pin ECM Repair | Confirm module label and application | The 40-pin service is separate from the 70-pin and 120-pin categories. Older trucks may have an engine or controller replacement in their history, so the chassis model year is not enough to select this repair. | Caterpillar 40-pin | CAT 40-Pin ECM RepairFrom $775 · Quote required |
| Detroit DDEC IV ECM Repair | Confirm module label and application | DDEC IV identifies a controller generation. Do not select this service solely because the engine is a Detroit Series 60: the module label and existing configuration determine the correct service. | Detroit DDEC IV | Detroit DDEC IV ECM RepairFrom $775 · Quote required |
| Detroit DDEC V ECM Repair | Confirm module label and application | A DDEC V label, part number and engine serial number distinguish this enquiry from DDEC IV and later Detroit controllers. The example numbers below are identification aids, not a statement that different versions interchange. | Detroit DDEC V | Detroit DDEC V ECM RepairFrom $775 · Quote required |
| Cummins Celect / Celect Plus Repair | Confirm module label and application | Celect and Celect Plus are identified separately during intake, even though they share this enquiry page. | Cummins CM871 ECM Repair | Confirm module label and application | CM871 is a particular Cummins controller family. An ISX badge is not enough to select it: CM870, CM2250 and CM2350 enquiries belong to different hardware assessments. | Cummins CM871 | Cummins CM871 ECM RepairFrom $725 · Quote required |
| Cummins CM2250 ECM Repair | Confirm module label and application | This page is scoped to CM2250 enquiries, with the engine application verified separately. | Cummins CM2350 ECM Repair | Confirm module label and application | CM2350 covers different engine applications and suffixes. | PACCAR MX11 / MX13 ECM Repair | Confirm module label and application | Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks can have different engine makes. | Freightliner CPC4 Module Repair | Confirm module label and application | CPC4 is a Common Powertrain Controller, not the engine-mounted ECM.
