What you get

  • Your BIU handled at the EEPROM level — all-keys-lost reset, add-a-key, or cloned onto a donor, where supported
  • A fresh transponder key programmed to the BIU on an all-keys-lost job (ship your uncut blade / transponder)
  • Original BIU data copied onto the donor on a clone, so the ECM and combination meter are never touched
  • Factory immobilizer kept fully active — this is not an immo delete
  • Bench read + verify before anything is written
  • Bench communication test with a stable, regulated power supply before return
  • Module returned with tracking — return-shipping speed your choice at checkout

Do you accept subaru biu clone / all-keys-lost modules from Montana?
Yes — we receive modules from Billings, Missoula, Great Falls, Bozeman and the rest of Montana regularly. With about 1.7 million registered vehicles statewide, full-size pickups & 4x4 SUVs are the bulk of what we see from Montana.
Is there a subaru biu clone / all-keys-lost shop in Billings I should use instead?
Most Billings shops don't keep the bench equipment for subaru biu clone / all-keys-lost — they'd forward the module to a specialist anyway, which adds a markup and a middleman. Going direct to us is usually faster and cheaper. Cross-country northwest — about 3 days each way.
Does Montana vehicle inspection or emissions testing affect this service?
Montana has no statewide periodic vehicle safety or emissions inspection program. Our service is bench module programming only — you remain responsible for your vehicle's compliance with all Montana and federal requirements.
How much is it and how does the mail-in work?
It is $250 flat. After a technician verifies your BIU by VIN and label photo, you ship it (with a key blade or the donor unit as needed) to Auto Module Lab. We handle it on the bench, test communication, and ship everything back with tracking — return speed your choice at checkout (Standard $29.95, UPS 2-Day $54.95, or UPS overnight $94.95).
Why can't a locksmith just add a key through the OBD port?
On these 2012–2017 blade-key Subarus, only a working key can authorize adding another through the port. When every key is gone, there is no OBD procedure — the registration lives in the BIU's EEPROM and has to be reset on the bench. That is why an all-keys-lost Subaru is a mail-in module job, not a driveway job.
