Will This Fix My Problem?

Honest answer: here's exactly what this service fixes — and what it doesn't.

Fixes:

  • Used Nissan/Infiniti ECM cranks but never starts
  • ECM failing intermittently and you want a clean spare/replacement
  • Water or corrosion damage with a still-readable board
  • Avoiding an on-car immobilizer procedure by cloning instead

Won't fix:

  • Original ECM completely dead and unreadable — cloning needs a readable source
  • On-car NATS immobilizer reset / key registration — that is on-car work we do not do
  • No-starts from sensors, fuel, or wiring — diagnose first
  • Modules we cannot confirm a match for — send the part number

Clone the data, skip the on-car procedure

The reason a used Nissan ECM strands you is identity: it carries another car's immobilizer data. Cloning copies YOUR original's data — immobilizer relationship included — onto the donor, so the module the car receives is, as far as it can tell, the one it always had. That means no on-car immobilizer reset in this workflow: the marriage travels with the clone. It does require your original to be readable, which is the one thing to confirm before you order.

Frequently Asked

Still have a question? Text us — replies in minutes.

Do you do Nissan immobilizer resets?
No — an on-car NATS immobilizer reset or key registration is on-car work we do not offer. What we do is CLONE: copy your original ECM's data, immobilizer relationship included, onto a donor on the bench. The marriage travels with the clone, so no on-car reset is part of this workflow.
What if my original ECM is completely dead?
Then a clone is not possible — cloning copies from a readable source. If the board will not read at all, this service cannot help, and you would be looking at a dealer/programming path instead. If you are unsure whether it reads, tell us the symptoms before ordering.
Will the car start right after install?
When your original reads and the donor is a correct match, yes — the donor carries your data and immobilizer relationship, so it goes in plug-and-play. That is the whole advantage of cloning over a raw used swap.
Where do I get a donor?
Salvage yards, eBay, and recyclers. Send us the part number of your candidate first — it has to match your original for a clean clone, and confirming up front saves a wasted purchase.
