Will This Fix My Problem?

Honest answer: here's exactly what this service fixes — and what it doesn't.

Fixes:

  • All keys lost and the dealer cannot order a key at any price
  • Need a working key without paying for remote functions
  • Bought a project Crossfire with no keys
  • Want a plain backup key that lives in a drawer
  • Replaced the SKREEM and need a key paired to it

Won't fix:

  • Want remote lock/unlock buttons? That is the $375 remote flip key service — same parts shipped
  • Mechanically seized ignition or door lock cylinders
  • Non-immobilizer no-start causes (fuel, crank, ECU faults)
  • Cluster repair — the SKREEM sits behind the cluster but is its own module

The $250 answer to a discontinued key

For a garaged weekend car, remote buttons are a luxury — what matters is that the engine starts. The valet key gets a discontinued-key Crossfire back on the road for $250 by doing exactly what the pricier key does on the immobilizer side: a fresh transponder paired to your SKREEM, blade cut from your own door lock. Many owners order it as the recovery key first, then add the remote flip key later once the car is running again.

Shipping Instructions

These details are also emailed to you the moment your payment clears.

Ship the SKREEM immobilizer module (behind the instrument cluster) AND the driver's door lock — the lock is required because no key code exists for these cars; we decode it to cut your blade. Include any old keys. Ship to PO Box 120241, Arlington TX 76012 (USPS) or 1009 Oakwood Ln # 120241, Arlington TX 76012 (UPS/FedEx). Return shipping is selected and paid at checkout — Standard $24.95, UPS 2-Day $54.95, or UPS overnight $94.95.

What to include in your box

  • The driver's door lock (we decode it to cut the new blade)

Frequently Asked

Still have a question? Text us — replies in minutes.

What exactly is a valet key?
A plain transponder key with no remote buttons. It starts the engine and turns the locks — everything the immobilizer side of a key does — it just cannot lock or unlock the car from a distance. On a discontinued-key car it is the fastest, cheapest way back to driving.
Can I upgrade to the remote key later?
Yes. The remote flip key service is $375 and works from the same SKREEM — many owners get the valet key first to make the car driveable, then send the SKREEM again later for the full remote key. If you know you want the remote now, order that service instead and skip the second shipment.
Why do you need the door lock for a valet key?
Every Crossfire key needs a cut blade, and there is no key code on file anywhere for these cars — the cut only exists inside your locks. We decode the driver's door lock on the bench and cut the blade to match. The lock returns with your key.
Is all-keys-lost extra?
No — $250 flat covers all keys lost. That is the situation most Crossfire owners who find us are in.
Where is the SKREEM in my car?
Behind the instrument cluster. Removing the cluster surround and the cluster exposes it — a careful screwdriver job. Ship the SKREEM itself; the cluster stays in your car.
