Chrysler / Dodge / Jeep Cut and Programmed Transponder Key by Mail — Your SKIM + Door Lock Cylinder, All Keys Lost
No key at all for your Liberty, Grand Cherokee, Ram, Dakota, PT Cruiser or minivan — nothing to copy a blade from and a dealer that wants it towed in? Ship the SKIM and your door lock cylinder; we cut the blade from your lock and program the transponder — $150, ready to start.
Sending several modules? Add them all — one box, one return-shipping charge.

How to tell you have SKIM
- A plastic ring around the ignition lock cylinder under the column shroud
- An amber key-shaped light in the cluster that glows about three seconds at key-on
- A grey rubber cap on the head of the original key (Sentry Key)
- Security light flashing while the engine dies two seconds after starting
What we work from
- The SKIM module with its antenna ring
- Your driver's door lock cylinder (decoded to cut the blade)
- Any existing keys, working or not (they stay programmed)
What the key does
- Starts the engine
- Turns the door and ignition locks
- No remote lock/unlock buttons (valet-style key)
Will This Fix My Problem?
Honest answer: here's exactly what this service fixes — and what it doesn't.
Fixes:
- All keys lost — nothing to copy a blade from and no dealer PIN
- Bought a Liberty, Grand Cherokee, Wrangler, Ram, Dakota, PT Cruiser, Neon or Caravan with no keys at all
- Dealer quoted a tow plus a key you have to wait days for
- Replaced a broken SKIM with a used one and now need a key paired to it
- Want one shipment that ends with a key that turns and starts
Won't fix:
- Already have a key that turns the door? The $125 transponder-only key needs just the SKIM — skip the lock
- Ram 2006-2008 and every 2007+ vehicle with the fob built into the key (WCM / WIN / FOBIK) — different system, text us first
- Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger / Magnum (2005+), Grand Cherokee WK and Commander (2005+) — SKREEM, not SKIM
- Sebring and Stratus coupes — Mitsubishi-built with a Mitsubishi immobilizer
- Chrysler Crossfire — its SKREEM sits behind the cluster; it has its own page
- Mechanically seized ignition or door lock cylinders — the module and the lock have to be serviceable
- Non-immobilizer no-start causes (fuel, crank, wiring) — the security light has to be the story
One box in, one working key out
The two things a dealer cannot do by mail are exactly the two we do here: read the PIN and key list out of the SKIM, and cut a blade for a vehicle that has no key code on file. Your door lock carries the cut; your SKIM carries the security. Both come off with a screwdriver, both ship in a small box, both come back with the new key — and the vehicle never leaves your driveway.
Shipping Instructions
These details are also emailed to you the moment your payment clears.
Ship the SKIM module (the column-mounted unit whose antenna ring circles the ignition lock cylinder) AND the driver's door lock cylinder — there is no key code on file for most of these vehicles, so we decode your lock to cut the blade. Include any existing keys. Ship to PO Box 120241, Arlington TX 76012 (USPS) or 1009 Oakwood Ln # 120241, Arlington TX 76012 (UPS/FedEx). Return shipping is selected and paid at checkout — Standard $29.95, UPS 2-Day $54.95, or UPS overnight $94.95.
What to include in your box
- The SKIM module with its antenna ring — it unplugs from the steering column once the shrouds are off
- The driver's door lock cylinder (we decode it to cut the new blade)
- Any existing keys, working or not
- VIN, year and model, and a printed order confirmation
- Proof of ownership (registration or title in your name)
- Your name, return address, and phone number
