GM HMI Infotainment, Radio & Cluster VIN / Theft-Lock Unlock (2014+ Global A/B)
We clear the VIN theft-lock from a used GM HMI screen module, radio, or instrument cluster so it powers up and works in your vehicle instead of showing a Theft Lock screen.
2014+ Global A and Global B HMI screen modules, A11-style radios, and instrument clusters across Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac and Buick.

Will This Fix My Problem?
Honest answer: here's exactly what this service fixes — and what it doesn't.
Fixes:
- ✓Theft Lock message on a swapped-in used HMI or radio
- ✓Black screen / boot-loop on a donor infotainment module
- ✓Used instrument cluster showing locked / VIN-mismatch behavior
- ✓Replacement screen module that won't accept the new VIN
- ✓Donor radio that powers but stays non-functional
Won't fix:
- ✗Hardware failures (cracked LCD, dead touch panel, water damage, failed backlight)
- ✗Wrong-build mismatch - an IO5 unit cannot become IO6, and nav/Bose options must match the RPO
- ✗Network/wiring faults, blown fuses, or amplifier issues outside the module
- ✗Vehicle-side anti-theft faults originating in the BCM or body modules
