TCM Programming & Clone — Mail-In Transmission Control Module Bench Service
Swapped a transmission or replaced a failed TCM? Mail in your original plus the donor and we clone your TCM data onto it — or program a used TCM to match your vehicle — on the bench so it communicates and matches. The final shift-adaptation drive cycle happens at the car.
Standalone / external TCMs across many makes — verified first. Integrated TCM/PCM units case-by-case, bench-doable only when unlocked and bench-readable. Newer, locked, or cluster-based systems must be programmed at the car over OBD — verify by VIN.

Will This Fix My Problem?
Honest answer: here's exactly what this service fixes — and what it doesn't.
Fixes:
- ✓Harsh, erratic, or wrong shifting after a used-transmission swap
- ✓Limp mode after replacing the TCM or transmission
- ✓New or used TCM that won't communicate after replacement
- ✓No-comms / U-code faults pointing at a mismatched TCM
- ✓Donor TCM installed but never programmed to the vehicle
- ✓You need your original TCM's calibration and adaptation carried onto a donor
Won't fix:
- ✗Does not repair worn clutches, bands, or friction material
- ✗Does not repair mechanical transmission wear or internal damage
- ✗Does not repair a failed torque converter or converter lockup fault
- ✗Does not repair valve-body or solenoid mechanical failures
- ✗Does not complete the on-car shift-adaptation / relearn drive cycle for you
- ✗Does not fix low fluid, leaks, or contaminated-fluid damage
- ✗Does not repair wiring, ground, or connector faults causing no-comms
- ✗Does not program locked or unsupported controllers that require at-the-car OBD work
Bench prepares the module — the car finishes the job
This service programs or clones the TCM on the bench so it matches your vehicle and communicates. The final shift-adaptation / quick-learn happens at the CAR, because the transmission relearns its shift behavior while driving after install — no bench can complete that step. Standalone / external TCMs mail in cleanly; integrated TCM/PCM units are bench-doable only when unlocked and bench-readable, and many newer, locked, or cluster-based vehicles must be programmed at the car over OBD instead. A technician verifies fitment (VIN + module label) and confirms your controller is bench-readable before you ship, so customers on unsupported platforms are told up front. Software programming does not repair mechanical damage — worn clutches, a failed torque converter, or internal wear must be repaired separately.
Shipping Instructions
These details are also emailed to you the moment your payment clears.
Verify first: text or email us your VIN and TCM service / part number and we confirm your controller is bench-readable before you ship anything — many newer, locked, or integrated systems must be programmed at the car over OBD and cannot be done by mail. Once verified, remove the TCM (and the donor unit, if cloning) and ship them to PO Box 120241, Arlington TX 76012 if you ship USPS — or 1168 W Pioneer Parkway, Arlington TX 76013 if you ship UPS or FedEx (UPS and FedEx cannot deliver to a PO Box). We program or clone on the bench, test communication, and ship it back via the return option you pick at checkout (Standard $14.95, UPS 2-Day $29.95, or UPS overnight $74.95). Complete the shift-adaptation drive cycle at the car after install.
What to include in your box

- Whether you want a clone (send original + donor) or a used TCM programmed to your vehicle
- Your original TCM AND the donor TCM if you are cloning
